Marty Hurt, Associate Pastor of Music and Education

Marty and his wife Christy are proud parents of teenage triplets.  In 2013, they left Trinity Baptist Church in Fulton, MS to join the GBC family.  He earned his Bachelor of Music from the University of Mississippi, and the Master of Divinity degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.  Before he stepped into vocational church ministry, Marty sang with the well-known Southern Gospel Quartet called CrossWay.

Bob Gregory, Youth and College Minister

Bob is a native of North Mississippi.  He is married to Alexandria ("Alex"), and they began serving GBC in 2018.  Bob earned his undergraduate degree from Blue Mountain College. He has served in youth ministry since his days in college, most recently at Clear Creek Baptist Church in Oxford, MS.  Before Bob surrendered his life to minister to students, he worked a short time as a bounty hunter.

Nolan Bennett, Children’s Minister

Nolan was hired to serve as our Interim Youth Minister for a time until a full-time student minister joined us.  The people of GBC loved Nolan so much, we asked him to stay and lead our children's ministries.  Nolan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Science Education at Blue Mountain College, and is married to his college sweetheart, Journey. 

Jodi Nichols, Administrative Assistant

Jodi and her husband Kevin joined the GBC family in 2017, although Jodi has been a vital part of our ministry for several years.  They love the Lord and serve him in many ways through the ministry of Gaston. Jodi serves as our financial secretary and office manager, aside from her duties of keeping the staff on the same page.  She moved from ACCO Brands in Booneville to join our staff in 2010.
